Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) including information suppression can take many different forms – from censorship to the targeted dissemination of disinformation by state actors or other interest groups. Today’s intensive use of social media and online platforms, and the questionable role of algorithms, makes the issue a growing problem. RESONANT aims to tackle this problem through multidisciplinary research cooperation.
